About WE Soda
WE Soda is the world’s largest producer of natural soda ash and one of the world’s largest producers of sodium bicarbonate. In the year ended 31 December 2022, the Group produced approximately 5.0 million metric tonnes (“mt”) of product, comprising 4.6 million mt of soda ash (95%) and approximately 0.4 million mt of sodium bicarbonate (5%) from two low-cost production facilities in Turkey. Our purpose is “to responsibly produce essential ingredients for a sustainable future”. Sustainability therefore is integrated into everything we do. We produce soda ash with the lowest CO2e emissions intensity and water intensity compared to synthetic producers and we believe that we have the lowest impact on nature and the environment.
